Savoury Crispy Bread

…. Or Bread Upma, as we call it. My daughter likes savoury dishes a little more than sweet treats.

This is a super quick snack perfect for times when there’s a craving to have something savoury in the evening.

I generally buy Warburton’s Milk Roll for my daughter because it’s soft and easy to eat. There’s a very thin border so there’s less food wastage. Win win !

Ingredients:

  1. 4 slices of bread, cut in squares
  2. Pinch of salt
  3. Butter
  4. Paprika
  5. Curry powder

Instructions:

  1. Heat butter in a pan and add salt, paprika and curry powder and give it all a good mix. Careful, it burns pretty quick
  2. Add the bread pieces and mix it all well. Don’t over mix it because the bread might break.
  3. Toast the bread pieces and make sure it’s well coated with spices.
  4. Serve with cheese.
